RICHARD'S prime rib TIPS
1. Place roast
fat side up in roasting pan.
2. Season with salt and pepper (or roast seasoning).
3. Insert meat thermometer making certain end does not touch fat or
bone.
4. Bake at 325 degrees to desired doneness.

8 pounds or less

140 degrees RARE
20-22 min.
160 degrees MEDIUM
24-27 min.
170 degrees WELL
29-30 min.
*Cooking times decrease
slightly for larger roasts
5. Let roast stand 15
minutes at room temperature before carving.
Richards's Touch...
Season with Snider's Roast Beef Seasoning. Put some dry,
red wine in pan, cover and cook same as above.
