RICHARD'S fresh fish & SHRIMP TIPS
Richard's rule of thumb for...
FRESH FISH...
Grill med-high or
bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes for every inch thick.
*example*
-Salmon 1 inch thick, grill or bake for 10-12 min.
-Sea Bass 1.5 in. thick, grill or bake for 15-18 min.
-Tilapia 1/2 in. thick, grill on foil or bake 5-6 min.
Flakey fish such as tilapia or
catfish can still be grilled, but first place fish on a piece of
foil to prevent falling through grates.
SHRIMP...
Grill or boil
shrimp 5-6 minutes.
Marinating - it is a good idea
to pre-peel shrimp in order to flavor thoroughly
Grilling - small shrimp may be
easier to grill if placed on skewers. Larger shrimp do not
require skewers
